About Us
Welcome to Africa Bound Tours(T) Ltd.
Africa Bound Tours(T) Ltd. was conceptualized by a local Tanzanian following more than 15 years of experience in the tourism industry. This was an eye opener for him about the vital role played by tour operators in the tourism value chain. We are a small corporate outfit specializing in groups between two and twelve people who demand personalized services. We cater to honeymooners, family groups, retirees and special interest clients or small groups.
Our mission is to offer upmarket services that provide an opportunity for travellers to assimilate into the cultures of hosting communities whilst enjoying the inexhaustible attractions of the country.
Our vision is to be a market leader in the application of eco tourism principles and promotion of community based tourism to benefit the local people.
In order to ensure continued utilization of the tourism resource base, we support the conservation of wildlife through our membership to the EAST AFRICAN WILDLIFE SOCIETY and ECOTOURISM KENYA.
It is against this background that AMBROSE MUTUI partnered up with LILLIANE and SIMON from AFRICA BOUND SAFARIS(KENYA) Ltd. and friends from CANADA to incorporate AFRICA BOUND TOURS(T) Ltd. with a vision of becoming a market leader in the application of eco tourism principles and promotion of community based tourism in Tanzania.
Apart from it's support for the east African wildlife society and eco tourism Kenya, Africa Bound Group supports the local people through school programs and environmental stewardship which have become a core value of its brand
As a tradition, all clients are personally received from the airport, checked into their hotels and briefed by AMBROSE. All safaris are accompanied by AMBROSE.
AFRICA BOUND TOURS Group guides are multilingual and have accumulated many years of field experience. In addition, they are regularly trained in off-road driving by reputable organizations, have excellent product knowledge, communication skills, social aspects of tourism and application of eco tourism principles.
Safaris are conducted in 4 by 4 Land Cruisers, each fitted with radio communication equipment and pop up roof for excellent photography.
The EAST AFRICAN WILDLIFE SOCIETY safeguards and promotes conservation and sustainable management of wildlife resources and their habitats in East Africa. The society’s conservation awareness in rural and coastal areas sponsors projects and contributes directly to the purchase of materials such as boats, radios and equipment for use in the field to protect wildlife.
