From start to finish, our time with Africa Bound Safaris was an adventure to remember. Our Guides Simon and Ambrose were not only knowledgeable and personable, we felt like they were welcoming family. The accommodations we stayed at and the variety of wildlife we saw were spectacular. Any request we made was accommodated. Of all the trips we have taken with our three children, this one had the kids engaged every moment. The memories of this country , its wildlife and its people will be with us forever.

My fiancee and I spent 12 days and nights in Kenya and Tanzania. We were completely blown away by the arrangements that had been made by Africa Bound Safaris. This was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. The accommodations were second to none and the food was incredible. Our vehicles were clean, safe and top of the line, which is very important when you're in the middle of the Mara with lions hovering! The Guides we had were terrific. We saw the big 5 many times over and also saw the wildebeest crossing as well as many fresh kills. Very exciting indeed. Our Guides also had incredible in depth knowledge of the area, the cultures and of course the animals that we saw. As we were in a small group, we were flexible to do what we wanted and see what we wanted. This added a lot of value to our trip as we didn't always have to be on the go and keep to a 'schedule' as we learned some of the other safari companies do.

There is no question that we will be going back on Safari with Africa Bound, the only question is when. AAA, 5 star rating.

This was our first trip to Africa and the entire experience was beyond our wildest dreams. From the minute we arrived in Nairobi to the minute we left we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our Guides took care of everything. The food and the luxury accommodations were great and the service was outstanding. Everywhere we went we were treated like family.

We had done our research, watched travel programs and thought we knew what to expect, but nothing could have prepared us for the feelings we experienced while on safari. Everyday was an adventure. Whether we were 10 feet from a pride of lions, touring a Masai village or watching the sun set from our tent, we were completely captivated by the unspoiled beauty of Kenya. We saw everything, the big five, hippos frolicking in the river, a leopard hiding his fresh kill up a tree, lions playing with wart hogs. It was amazing, our guides instinctively knew where the animals would be.

This was a trip of a lifetime for our family! We have already started to plan a trip to Tanzania during the wildebeest migration.

I can honestly say that I can't think of any issue for Ambrose & Africa Bound staff. I always felt respected and safe, Ambrose and Roman were both very knowledgeable and shared their passion for wildlife with us making us feel like old friends. They went above and beyond to facilitate what the various guests needed. Overall the properties were fabulous, staff at all hotels were quite good and friendly. It definitely ranks up there as one of the highlights of my life. I will definitely be back to Tanzania and look forward to having Ambrose or Roman by my Guide.
